Twill Tape, 12 & 20mm, 100% cotton, with a herringbone weave. Perfect for creating bone channels for metal or plastic bones. Sold by the metre.

Notes from Melanie Jayne: I use the 12mm tape for bone channels for the 6mm spiral & flat steels bones. If you stitch on the very edges of the tape, I find the tipped bones slip in very easy. I tip with the plastic bone caps and put a spot of hot glue on the caps to hold them on tight. We have tried to match up the twill tape with the coutil fabric colours. Beige works well with the beige and nude coutil, the gray is different to the blue gray coutil.
